I'm back

A good friend has recently inspired me to take up the blogging habit again. It will definitely make a difference if I know that someone is reading what I have to say. :)

I also feel inspired by my newfound enjoyment of reading the blogs of others. It really is enlightening to read someone's thought and say, "Yes! That is exactly how it works for me too!"

This is quite short, but part of the deal I made with myself is that it gets to be simply what it is. No judgment allowed of what it should be. So voila. A bientot.
I just discovered this book thanks to a dear friend of mine. She read it and it changed her life--so I decided to give it a try. My husband and I are hooked! We love Elizabeth Warren's fresh style and witty approach to a potentially daunting subject. It has rescued our family from impending financial chaos.

I recommend it to people whose finances are stable or those who are feeling frustration: both affluent and lower-income families and individuals can greatly benefit from this refreshingly honest book.

5 Stars!

The Growing Season

I just discovered a great blog by one of the sisters from my mission: The Growing Season. She set it up about 3 years ago to discuss infertility and pregnancy, and now that her son is about a year old, she talks about her garden. I love it!

It's perfect for me--my garden is my baby and as for pregnancy... time will tell!
